Devil Rays fall to Sheffield and the Tigers
Gary Sheffield homered twice and drove in five runs and Jeremy Bonderman won his fourth straight start as the Detroit Tigers cruised past the Tampa Bay Devil Rays 14-2 on Tuesday night. Casey Fossum suffered the loss after allowing five runs and seven hits in one plus inning.

ESPN not allowed to have studio show in All-Star ballpark (AP)
ESPN won’t be able to allowed to broadcast its “Baseball Tonight” show live from the All-Star game in San Francisco on Tuesday night. Major League Baseball limited ESPN’s access this week after the cable network broke an embargo and announced the All-Star rosters before the end of a selection show on TBS.
