Marlins 14, Devil Rays 8
Jeremy Hermida hit a grand slam to start Florida’s rally from a six-run deficit, Hanley Ramirez had four hits and the Marlins defeated the Tampa Bay Devil Rays 14-8 on Friday night.
The Marlins trailed 8-2 after four innings, then scored 12 unanswered runs and reached .500 for the first time since May 4.

Devil Rays C Navarro leaves game with Marlins in sixth on stretcher (PA SportsTicker)
Tampa Bay catcher Dioner Navarro left the game with the Florida Marlins in the bottom of the sixth inning with an apparent throat injury. He was taken off the field on a stretcher.

Texas 1B Teixeira leaves game with quadriceps injury (AP)
Texas first baseman Mark Teixeira left Friday night’s game against the Milwaukee Brewers after the sixth inning with a sore left quadriceps.
