Angels-Royals Preview
The Los Angeles Angels are coming off their first series win on the road this season and have a good chance to continue that success in Kansas City.

Rockies option Speier, designate Keppel for assignment (AP)
The Colorado Rockies optioned right-hander Ryan Speier to Triple-A Colorado Springs and designated right-hander Bobby Keppel for assignment Sunday. The Rockies also called up right-handers Denny Bautista and Alberto Arias from Colorado Springs. Bautista worked a scoreless 11th to get the win in the Rockies’ 9-7 win over the Atlanta Braves on Sunday.
