    Randolph agrees to new $5.65 million, 3-year deal (AP)

    The New York Mets and manager Willie Randolph agreed in principle Wednesday to a new $5.65 million, three-year contract that runs through 2009.     Contract issue hangs over Mariners, Suzuki (AP)

    Escobar, Nationals agree to $530,000 for 1 year (AP)
