Tigers can thank patience for Game 1 win
Instead of swinging a lot at first pitches and forcing the action, the Tigers made Barry Zito come to them in Game 1 of the ALCS on Tuesday night. Dayn Perry applauds the Tigers’ game plan, and says it’s why Detroit won Game 1 rather easily, 5-1.
